Two things that seems to annoy most of us are impolite drivers and getting stuck in traffic jams.What is your opinion about traffic in your city? cartagena is a very small city, for that reason there is not a lot of traffic. but, when the vacations comes... the traffic is a chaos....
a lot of cars of another cities come here to enjoy the season and for that reason, the Mayor's office imposes restrictions and the result of that is traffics flows without problems!!!.

In Cartagena, the traffic of vehicles congested is one of the most serious urban problems, causer of a high number of dead men and of a permanent disturbance of the tranquility.
To face it, the local authorities have come to the deterministic strategies that not only have been ineffective but they have helped to complicate more the problem, as if the traffic was treating itself about a phenomenon with invariable reasons in the time.
The buses that stop every five meters, the collective taxis that now imitate them and the mototaxis - whose drivers have showed to be the champions in disobeying all the procedure of traffic-, and we will have the pandemonium that we suffer every day.
I think that a serious solution that the authorities give mas attention to this problem creating mas restrictions to the traffic and improving this service for the social well-being

I think that the principal problem of Cartagena city is the poverty, the low level of education and the pollution. In cartagena also there are big problems with the public transportation, The buses in circulation are in poor condition and there are too many mototaxis and traffic congestion.

I think that CARTAGENA has very big trouble because there are too many cars for a really small city, that is the reason there is too much traffic. i think cartagena need more subway lines and less Tolls as a solution.
The biggest problem our City has is the deficiency of ways that compared with the amount of cars is not enough.
Otherwise the roads that the city already has are in real bad situation. That´s why i propose the following suggestions to improve the traffic problem in Cartagena.
<1> A Subway with the enoung capacity to take a lot of people through the most crowded places on the city.
<2>The "Pico y placa", the sistem that does´t allow all the cars to go out the same day, so the traffic wouldn´t be too hard.
<3>The elimination of the "Mototaxis", just with this change we could avoid a lot of accidents that happends everyday.
In conclution there´s a lot of ways to improve the traffic situation in our city but there are also some other bigger problems that we should solve first: like the corruption, that actually is the cause of the ineficcient plublic construccion and the bad public transportation.
